On 27 December the first Equality Plan of the Port Authority of A Coruña was approved.

The main objective of the Plan is to remove the barriers that hinder effective equality between women and men, guaranteeing equal access to the resources that facilitate the efficient performance of the tasks inherent in each job and foster personal and professional development", without sex being an impediment to the proper, full development of the professional life of those who work for the PORT AUTHORITY OF A CORUÑA, pursuant to the contents of section 3 of Organic Law 3/2007: “The principle of equal treatment of women and men means the absence of any discrimination, direct or indirect, because of sex and, in particular, those arising from maternity, the assumption of family obligations and civil status”.
