Sisargas Islands lighthouse

History
The current lighthouse is 1915 and was built through the efforts of the inhabitants of Malpica, who rose stones freehand fighting the wind that whips the islands; is at the top of the Big Island, situated next to the old lighthouse. Nowadays it is automated, but not long ago the lighthouse keepers still live here in shifts of 10 or 15 days unless spells of rough weather postponed their coming back inland, what happened too often.
