History

After travelling along the Costa da Morte from Finisterre till Malpica, following the lighthouse route, we arrive in Corme, a small coastal town. Going along the road we reach Point Roncudo, where the lighthouse of Roncudo is located, called like that becase of the sound of the sea against the cliff, and as all lighthouses its purpouse is to warn ships of the proximity of the coast. But the lighthouse of Roncudo is well-known not only because of the beauty of its natural enviroment but also due to barnacles from Roncudo. Because of sea force and water characteristics, barnacles from this area are consider to be the most delicious in Galicia, a place worth visiting.
