Conditions for Application

Surcharges

The following surcharges may be applied in the following cases:

  • Service to or from shipyard areas, dry docks, dry docks, dry docking yards or ship lifting platforms: a surcharge of 2xT shall be applicable.
  • Service to a vessel requiring assistance where for any exceptional circumstance arising during the manoeuvre the vessel is unable to manoeuvre normally and therefore does not have the capacity to perform the manoeuvre: a surcharge of 2xT is applicable.
  • Services requiring embarkation or disembarkation in the Ares estuary due to bad weather conditions: a surcharge of 0.5xT is applicable.
  • Services to tow trains, vessels or floating craft whose manoeuvrability and steering characteristics mean that the manoeuvre exceeds the usual duration of similar manoeuvres (one hour) and any vessel or floating craft that initially presents restricted manoeuvrability or breakdown conditions: a surcharge of 3xT shall be applicable.

In the case of manoeuvres of floating craft built in port waters without crew in which the pilot takes command of the nautical direction of the manoeuvre, a rate of 1500 €/h will be applied; in the case of a captain's advisor, a rate of 1.5xT will be applied.

In any case, no more than one surcharge per service of those mentioned in the previous paragraphs may be applied.

Surcharges may be applied according to incidents attributable to users. Surcharges may be levied for the following reasons:

  1. Delays caused by the vessel in the provision of the service.
  2. Cancellations made by the user less than sixty (60) sixty minutes before the scheduled start of the service.

Any operation that is not cancelled half an hour before the scheduled time, and which is then not carried out, shall be charged at 50% of the corresponding fare for the service to be provided.

Reductions

Reductions will be applied according to incidents attributable to providers. The concepts for which reductions will be established are:

  • Delay by the provider in starting the service.
  • If the delay is less than half an hour: 0%.
  • If the delay is more than half an hour and less than one hour: 10%.
  • If the delay is more than one hour and less than two hours: 20%.
  • If the delay is more than two hours: 30% for each hour or fraction thereof.

The delay in performance shall start to be counted from the 60 minutes established as maximum response time (in the case of the checkpoint, 120 minutes).
