FEMPA funds
The European Maritime, Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund (EMFAF) is the proposed new fund for the EU’s maritime, fisheries and aquaculture policies for 2021-2027, replacing the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund (EMFF).
EMFAF urges the Member States to invest in the fisheries and aquaculture sectors to make them more competitive and to develop a sustainable blue economy, in addition to new markets and technologies. Protecting and restoring biodiversity is another of its priorities.
